Scott Adams Update

This was posted on X from an Admin in his community. Things are not looking good. This will be a major loss.

"Let's all take a deep breath.

That was really, really hard to hear.
Scott revealed he is on hospice care and no longer in the Pluvicto trials because he is too sick to receive it.
He is saying his final goodbyes to the people he loves.

PLEASE do NOT try to reach out to him, as he said, 'bombard' him.
This is a very personal time in his life, and I know we all want to respect him to the fullest.

Today, MAY have been his last CWSA. If that is the case, we have to remember how lucky we are that he took us this far through his experience.
He has done more than anyone possibly could, and we have NOTHING BUT GRATITUDE for this.

Please pray for Scott and his family and for each other.

I am seeing all of your DM's flooding in, and I am reading them. I wish I could console you all.

Just know that Scott has built an everlasting legacy, and we are all Scott's Debris.

Let's...

Bill Burr Philly Rant

This is the 12+ minute rant by Bill Burr taking down Philly residents I discussed with @lordbuckly today on Free-form Friday. It's brutal.

This is a description of what happened written by Grok:

The Bill Burr Philly Rant refers to a legendary incident in 2006 when comedian Bill Burr, while performing as part of The Opie & Anthony Show's Traveling Virus Comedy Tour in Philadelphia, went on a 12-minute tirade against the audience after the previous act was heavily heckled. The crowd, initially hostile, eventually turned and gave him a standing ovation at the end.

Burr's rant was filled with profanity and insults directed at the audience, including wishing them cancer, mocking their love for the Philadelphia Eagles, and criticizing the city for not appreciating its own boxing legend, Joe Frazier. The incident has since become a part of comedy history, with Burr explaining the backstory in various interviews and podcasts.

The event showcased Burr's ability to handle a tough crowd and ...

Ep 30: Wassup With Lordbuckly? presents The Secret Life of Steve Martin

Stephen Glenn Martin (born August 14, 1945) is an American comedian, actor, writer, producer, and musician. Known for his work in comedy films, television, and recording, he has received many accolades, including five Grammy Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award as well as nominations for eight Golden Globe Awards and two Tony Awards. Martin received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in 2005, the Kennedy Center Honors in 2007, the Honorary Academy Award in 2013 and an AFI Life Achievement Award in 2015.[1] In 2004, Comedy Central ranked Martin at sixth place in a list of the 100 greatest stand-up comics.[2]

Martin first came to public notice as a writer for The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award in 1969, and later as a frequent host on Saturday Night Live. He became one of the most popular American stand-up comedians during the 1970s, performing his brand of offbeat, absurdist comedy routines before sold-out theaters on ...

The Goods lived in Kansas City's vibrant Waldo neighborhood for about two years but decided to flee the US after Trump's election, a former neighbor told KMBC.

The couple moved to Canada to escape Trump about eight months ago but evidently did not last there very long, as they'd moved again to Minneapolis by the time of Good's killing.

The Uncanny Coincidence
The Deaths of Jefferson, Adams, and Monroe on the Fourth of July

Introduction

The Fourth of July is a day of pride and celebration in the United States. It marks the nation's independence from Great Britain. But did you know that three early U.S. Presidents—Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and James Monroe—died on this same date? This article explores their deaths, the historical significance, and the theories behind this strange coincidence.

The Fourth of July: A Day of Independence and Coincidence

The Historical Significance of the Fourth of July

The Fourth of July, also known as Independence Day, celebrates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. This day marks the birth of the United States as an independent nation. People celebrate with fireworks, parades, and various festivities.

The Founding Fathers: Jefferson, Adams, and Monroe

Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and James Monroe were key figures in the founding of the United States. Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence and was the third President. Adams was a strong advocate for independence and the second President. Monroe, known for the Monroe Doctrine, was the fifth President. Their contributions to the nation are huge, and their deaths on the same date add a layer of mystery to their legacies.

The Remarkable Coincidence: Deaths on the Fourth of July

Thomas Jefferson's Final Moments

Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States, died on July 4, 1826, the 50th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. According to various accounts, Jefferson knew the importance of the date. On the night of July 3, he reportedly asked, "Is it the Fourth?" before passing away the next day. This has led to speculation that Jefferson willed himself to survive until this important day.

John Adams' Last Words

John Adams, the second President of the United States, also died on July 4, 1826, just hours after Jefferson. His last words were reportedly, "Thomas Jefferson survives," not knowing that Jefferson had already passed away. The fact that two of the most influential Founding Fathers died on the same day has fueled various theories and speculations.

James Monroe's Death

James Monroe, the fifth President of the United States, died on July 4, 1831, exactly five years after Jefferson and Adams. While Monroe's death did not receive as much attention as the simultaneous deaths of Jefferson and Adams, it added to the strange coincidence of Founding Fathers passing away on Independence Day.

Theories and Speculations

Divine Intervention

One popular theory is that divine intervention played a role in the timing of their deaths. Statesman Daniel Webster suggested that the simultaneous deaths of Jefferson and Adams on the 50th anniversary of American independence were a sign of heavenly providence, indicating that the United States was favored by divine forces.

Medical Manipulation

Another theory suggests that doctors may have deliberately prolonged Jefferson's life until July 4 and even influenced the timing of Adams' death. This theory suggests that medical professionals of the time might have had the means and motivation to ensure that these significant figures died on a historically important date.

The Power of Will

Some believe that Jefferson and Adams, aware of the significance of the date, willed themselves to survive until the Fourth of July. This theory is supported by Jefferson's reported question, "Is it the Fourth?" and Adams' last words, "Thomas Jefferson survives."

The Legacy of the Fourth of July Deaths

Historical Impact

The deaths of Jefferson, Adams, and Monroe on the Fourth of July have become an important part of American history and mythology. This remarkable coincidence has been the subject of many books, articles, and discussions, highlighting the lasting legacy of these Founding Fathers.

Cultural Significance

The story of their deaths adds depth to the celebration of Independence Day. It serves as a reminder of the sacrifices and contributions of the Founding Fathers, making the Fourth of July not only a day of celebration but also a day of reflection on the nation's history.

Educational Value

The coincidence of their deaths provides a unique opportunity for teachers to engage students in discussions about American history, the lives of the Founding Fathers, and the significance of Independence Day. It also encourages critical thinking and exploration of historical events and their impact on the present.

Conclusion

The deaths of Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and James Monroe on the Fourth of July remain one of the most fascinating coincidences in American history. Whether viewed as a result of divine intervention, medical manipulation, or the power of will, this remarkable event adds a layer of mystery to the legacy of these Founding Fathers. As we celebrate Independence Day, let us also remember the contributions and sacrifices of these great men who helped shape the nation we know today.
